This Month is New Zealand Music Month Everyone!
Some good albums have come out this month and live acts have been happening all round Auckland Town. Last Saturday night I went to The Whiskey Bar on Ponsonby Road who every night this month have been hosting live NZ Bands. I went and saw Ruby Frost and the WOW factor was pretty high. She is one cool girl. Just Ruby on the vocals and keys and her partner Jimmy Mac on the drums. They played for a while and the whiskey was packed. If I was to describe Ruby to someone similar we all might know I would say she is a bit like Florence (and the Machine) and Jimmy is one of the best drummers I have ever seen perform live. Their style is epic and the songs they produce are really really cool. Ruby's EP Moonlight is out and everyone should get it to support NZ Music Month!!!!!

TENLEY: My favourite city as cliche as it is would have to be NYC!!!!!!! You see it on the movies and always want to go there. When you actually do its kind of familiar in a way. Everyone is out and about and people are all there to do something or be someone. I never get over that city no matter how much I go there and I have very fond memories that I will cherish from NYC forever.
