Alright
No matter how sweet your life is...
I am sure that everyone at least once has heard themselves saying the quote
"I wish I was a kid again"
Back when you were a child, no worries in the world, and an imagination that took you to places that were fun and new.
The word stress was no where to be heard.
Then you grow up and the only things connecting you to your childhood are the memories and the odd photo that your parents have held onto.
These are the Kats when youth was the only thing we knew.
NGAHUIA: I was talking to someone the other day about the things we used to get up to as kids.
One memory I have that makes me laugh...... My sister and I shared a bedroom when we were young. We used to draw a line down the middle of the room so that we both had half a room each that we "owned." We were not allowed to cross that line for anything. There was a lot of arguing that came about from this "invented rule." Kids are cool like that. They love inventing, fighting, playing.
TENLEY: Remember when MTV was cool as hell? When you could disappear with the neighborhood kids for the day and come home when the street lights came on? We rode around in a pack on our big wheels then our bikes. I was a rough kid, breaking bones and getting stitches. I was always right in there with the boys. I did have a brother and 3 boy cousins as my closest relatives, so I guess I felt I had to keep up. For some reason I just wanted to test all of the boundaries and taste the world. And I'm still like that today. If my Grandmother has taught me anything, it's to always be a kid at heart.
I would just like to add that back in the day parents were awesome at getting kids outfits so right!
